But man did it ever saver me today. I had install Ubuntu some time ago on my MacBook Air, somewhere along the line I deleted it, but now I can’t seem to reclaim that missing space. I know I’ll have to reformat eventually but I’ve sort of been avoiding it as I only have one computer right now.
This disk sweeper program basically just shows you where everything is on your computer and lets you trash anything that is clearly useless. This is particularly useful if you, like me, find your self with very little space and no idea what’s using it all up. (You know you have 3.2 GB of printer drivers….)
Give it a try, it’s pretty cheap and in my book well worth it.

Just thought I’d toss up my halloween costume from this year. Since it’s pretty damn slick.

My Data Halloween costume this year.
And of course, the crew of the enterprise.

I have some really cool friends...
That is all…

So just a quick little note, I went to the new sushi joint on King’s Street today and was pleasantly surprised. Fredericton hasn’t really been known for its culinary diversity, at least so long as I’ve lived here, but hopefully this place does well.
It doesn’t really have a lot of ambiance, not the type of place I’d really like to just… hang out in. But hopefully that’s just new restaurant stuff.

Finally finished geology and onto slightly more exciting things. I’ll be working on some manner of text editor in the coming weeks for my advanced design patterns class. So maybe I’ll have something of interest to post on that. I find CS courses kind of funny as they require the strangest things of you. In this case we are being asked to implement a bunch of the original GoF (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gang_of_Four_(software)) patterns, in Java. (Read: iterator, list… etc.) Which is, well kind of insane considering they have all been implemented quite well in Java already (java.util.list……….) Bah!
Anyway I’ll let you know how it goes, and of course post the results.
I have full intent to continue posting my various projects up here. It’s really jsut a matter of find the time, and the code on my computer.
